This is how Barks eats. He has a bit of his food, then he turns around and looks at us, to make sure we are still here, then goes back to eating. He does this repeatedly as he eats…it is so weird. He obviously has separation anxiety. He was lost on the street for three days as a youngster, when my wife’s ex-roommate lost him some how. And then when my wife came to teach in South Korea with me she left Barkley at her parents house for a year. So I guess it is justified.
